One of NZâs few birds of prey. Often confused with the Swamp Harrier, the falcon is smaller and prefers to have dynamic hunts for prey, unlike the harrier which is more of an opportunist (i.e. eats roadkill).
The KÄrearea also stars on the NZ $20 note.
