The Spanish Moon Moth, is also known by the name 'The Stained Glass' moth. It is a rare and protected species that is found in the mountain pine forests of Spain, France, and Switzerland.

Like its brethren this moon moth has the same pale green colouring however this one is unique as the veins of the wings are outlined in a red-brown colouring, giving it its ‘stained glass’ appearance.
