One of a kind, original painting of "Lil' Bird - Blackbird", part of the "Lil' Birds" Collection
The blackbird was introduced to New Zealand by European settlers and is now our most common bird species.
Despite being called blackbird only the males are black. The female blackbird is usually a dark brown with slight mottling on her breast.
