Shoebill Storks are a large African bird named after it’s unusual clog shaped beak. It grows to an height of 1.5m and has a wingspan of 2.4m. They are carnivores and regularly eat lungfish and eels, as well as baby crocodiles.

If you are familiar with the Legend of Zelda games, this bird is the inspiration for the Loftwing birds of Skyward Sword.
